Xbox Game Pass: You can now play My Time on Sandrock and FC 24

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, a CNET Editors’ Choice Awards pick, offers hundreds of games you can play on your Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, and PC $17 per monthThe subscription gets you access to a large library of games, with new titles added every month — like the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 — plus other benefits, like online multiplayer and deals on non-Game Pass titles.

Microsoft added Octopath Traveler 1 and 2, along with other games, to Game Pass Ultimate in early June, and the company is adding those games to the service soon.

My Time at Sandrock

Available now.

Describing this title as “casual” feels weird, since it takes place in a world set about 300 years after most technology was destroyed. But I also don’t know how else to describe this game that stars two fat cats named Banjo and the Captain who have missions for you to complete. Otherwise, this life sim is full of crafting, farming, and occasional battles with bandits and monsters.

Available now.

Living on a hostile alien planet can be tough. But in this 2D sandbox survival title, you can have a little fun while you’re at it. You’ll have to search for supplies on an unfamiliar planet and craft items like spaceship parts to aid your survival. Luckily you can play with others in online multiplayer, so if you’re having trouble getting past a particular enemy, you can recruit them for help.

EA Sports FC 24

Available now.

If your team isn’t performing as you hoped at Euro 2024, now’s your chance to improve it. You can pit your favorite country’s team against some of the best players from around the world in a bid to achieve international fame and win the Henri Delaunay Trophy.

Steamworld Dig

Available now.

If you’ve ever played games like Minecraft and Terrarium and loved digging underground, finding gems and encountering monsters, then this game is for you. The premise is simple: you dig underground to find gems to sell on the surface. But as you go further down, you’ll encounter more powerful monsters. SteamWorld Dig also features random encounters, so you’ll never come across the same underground layout twice.

SteamWorld Dig 2

Available now.

And if you haven’t been satisfied with the original SteamWorld Dig, its sequel is also joining Game Pass. The gameplay is similar to the original, with lots of digging, collecting gems, and fighting underground monsters, but SteamWorld Dig 2 has more of a story. A series of mysterious earthquakes have shaken a small mining town – get it, shaken? – and it’s up to you to figure out what’s going on and save the town.

Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders

Available: 27 June

In this action-adventure title you control the legendary heroic outlaw. It’s up to you and your merry band of merrimen to free Sherwood from the tyrannical Sheriff of Nottingham. You can fight, hunt, craft and steal goods to help the local communities. You’ll also meet other great characters like Lady Marian and Little John along the way.

Leave Game Pass

Microsoft is adding those six games to Game Pass Ultimate, but it’s also removing five titles from the service on June 30 and one on July 5. So, you still have some time before you need to buy these games separately.

Departure on June 30

Departure on 5th July
